IMG_4745I was born in the South of England, grew up in the Midlands and I now live in the North East. I am lucky enough to have made my home in the beautiful seaside village of Tynemouth with my husband and daughter. I regularly read with children in my daughter’s school, which makes me very aware of the complexities and richness of this language. I’ve been amazed and delighted with the children’s increasing proficiency in the mechanics of reading and their ever-improving comprehension, as well as their enthusiasm for books.
